JAZOOM just got a little fluffier...

Meet Jessie.

Meet Jessie's birthday present, Bitsy.

Jessie is surprised to find out that Bitsy is not actually a small ball of fur, but a small bunny:

Bitsy is a dwarf bunny, adopted from an island, off the coast of "Back Bay". She is full of charisma and has a strong desire to learn. She loves corners of rooms, Jared Gibo, RockHarbor, and curling up on all her friends' laps. She can't wait to have play dates with Grey, Sage, and Clark.

LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND THE FAMOUS

Every now and then, JAZOOM let's the paparazzi in on their everyday lives.

Now, we try to stay out of the public eye as much as possible, lying low, focusing on our character and inner beauty.

But once in a while, we find a photographer we believe in. A photographer who not only grasps the essence of JAZOOM, but longs to attain it. A photographer who uses the camera to capture both outer beauty and inner sparkle.

Capturing the charming wit and undeniable charisma of JAZOOM has proven to be a challenge time and time again, and many photographers fall apart under the pressure of such an inconceivable request.

LADIES AND GENITALS,

WE FOUND HIM. The photographer who could capture the impossible.

You are about to witness the brilliant work of TREVER HOEHNE. You could say, JAZOOM has been touched by an Angel.

WAIT.................. WHAT?!

Yep, that's right! Jazoom is back. We're hot, single, and a little taller! Watch out bloggers... the internet just got a little bit spicier. Due to slower internet connections in Uganda and our increasingly demanding social agendas, we were forced to take a six-month leave of absence.

Well folks, the dry spell is over. This is for you, Tom Ritz, Mandy Taylor, and John Neimeyer. Your cupeth is about to overfloweth.

Without further ado,

JAZOOM'S TOP 9: UGANDA EDITION

1. The two men in our lives: Ronnie and Jacob. One loves us, one is deathly afraid of us...

2. Hangin' with our homegirls: The ladies of 31 Bits!

3. 3's a crowd...BUT 4'S A PARTY! The main mode of transportation in Uganda: Boda Bodas. Basically a motorcyle taxi....and we had no problem jazooming around on these bad boys for 4
months.....what now Harley Davidson??? If only we brought more leather... From hanging with our favorite Boda driver Eric, to getting multiple marriage proposals, Bodas always made for a fun, cheap ride. ;) Now for a safe ride...2's the limit....but why not get a little crazy right???.....

4. The Village. We trekked an hour outside Gulu on boda bodas to visit one of our ladies' villages. We cooked local food, danced the night away, learned to speak Luo around the fire, and were repeatedly urged to marry a villager and stay in Uganda forever!!! Now you know JAZOOM, and we couldn't just leave our country roots behind...meet Uganda's newest (and maybe only) cowboy...

5. We're in D'Nile!!!! No but really! We're in it! We rafted it. We conquered it. We drank it. We hung with Bob in it. (Bob the raft guide.)

6. Halloween in Uganda??? Yep, that's right...we partook in the 3rd annual Gulu Halloween Bash...fulfilling a childhood dream of Jessie's....we managed to dress up as trolls! We searched Kampala high and low and found just what we needed for these prize-winning ensambles.

Meet our friend Jamie...the Yellow Troll, and some of the finest bachelors in that time zone, The Village People.

7. Our Honeymoon. Alli's parents treated us to a weekend at the Haven in the beautiful town of Jinja....where we stayed in none other than the honeymoon suite! That's right, JAZOOM honeymooned in a sweet hotel with a SHOWER THAT OVERLOOKED THE NILE!!!!! Alli took what was almost the best shower of her life....but while she was getting a view of the Nile...a maintenance worker got a great view of her! BAH!!!

8. Power's Out! Shortages of water and electricity are not a rare occasion in Uganda....so sometimes you're forced to make your own fun...between a flashlight and a portable ipod player, we found our source of entertainment....at least until the batteries ran out....

9. A Bus Ride to Remember. 2 weekends a month in Kampala to get supplies, also meant many, many hours on the bus. Our final bus ride in Uganda, ended up being one to remember. Alli sat 4 to a three person seat and was peed on by a small child, and Jessie sat in the middle of the back row, a few guys on her right, luggage piled high on her feet, and 4 boxes of none other than Kenya's Finest Chicks on her left. LOUD chicks. Loud chicks for 6 hours. Check it...

So there you have it, JAZOOM'S TOP 9: Uganda Edition. You've laughed with us, cried with us, sang with us, and grown with us. That was a small glimpse of our time in Uganda, and we're sure more stories will be revealed as the journey continues...but for now...sleep well as you dream of where JAZOOM might take you next....

Skidaddle to Seattle!!

Living life on the edge, your car is bound to get pretty dirty...

JAZOOM loves to camp. Shocking, we know.

JAZOOM also knows how to pitch a tent. Here is proof, for the skeptics of the world.

Getting ready for a bachelorette party on the road can be tricky... thankfully the Kingston ferry had power outlets in the bathroom.

We didn't get the privilege of enjoying the views from the boat, but we arrived in Seattle fresh and sassy! WE LOVE JOANNA! (Kyle's ok.)

We saw Seattle through the eyes of the rainy city's finest newlyweds, the Von Steinbergs.

We paroozed the city streets with Jed and Bethany's dogs (apparently there are more dogs in Seattle than kids!), had a delicious cheese burger at Dick's Burgers (the Northwest rival to In-N-Out), ate crazy ice cream at Molly Moon's (like balsamic strawberry and sea salt caramel!), and woke up to a delicous breakfast of coffee, omlettes, and toast with Polish jam! Yitsik!

Then we hit up Pike's Place in downtown Seattle! We discovered that the heartbeat of Seattle resides in culinary delights! We sampled: peaches, nectarines, cherries, flavored honey, smoked salmon, cin-sugar mini donuts, banana walnuts, salad dressings, and chocolate linguini!!! AND we even took time to love on some fish!!! They JAZOOM too!

Does JAZOOM like Starbucks? Is the earth round? Did we feed buffalos out of our car yesterday?????? YES, we are Starbucks drinkers and YES we went to the first Starbucks: Check it!

Next Stop: Gig Harbor! Home of Matt and Ashley Pleau, The Thomson twins, and now miss Emily! We went to Forza, the local coffee spot in town that Ashley manages, to jam to "The Shy Boys" and learn choreographed dance moves to Johnny Cash.

We love WASHINGTON!!!!!

JAZOOM and buffalos and bears, OH MY!!!!

We love Washington for many reasons... one of them being, when you go to park your car. Chances are there'll be some llamas chillin' in the truck next to you.

At the day-old bakery store...getting ready to have some good, cheap, Washington FUN!!!!!

Meet the newest fans of JAZOOM....the whole animal kingdom found at Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, WA!! Let's just say Sequim is the best kept secret of the Northwest!

6 loaves of bread and a drive around the farm add up to the perfect way to spend an afternoon...meet some of our new friends:

JAZOOM brings smiles to everyone's faces, including Mr. Bear and one of Santa's reindeer! We didn't get to pet the snuggly bear (which was probably for the best) but he sure was happy to see JAZOOM!

This reindeer sure isn't camera shy! He came right up to the window for a picture and a hoagie roll.

BUFFALO IN THE CAR...I repeat...BUFFALO IN THE CAR!!!!!

Mr. Buffalo has stolen Alli's heart away. Here they are on their first date:

And Jessie didn't want to be left out....sourdough anyone?

This little guy just wanted to look at himself in the mirror!! Don't mind Alli in the driver's seat!!!

"Did someone say bread???"

And to top the day off...a stroll through the petting zoo! We've gotten to do some pretty cool things in our travels...but we can now say our lives are complete!! We were chased by elk, drooled on by buffalo, and nibbled on by zebras!

Canada is great, doncha know eh?

Good day JAZOOMers! We have had a fun-filled day in Victoria, Canada! Here are just a couple of highlights:

MMM... Murchies for breakfast. A Canadian tradition filled with love and calories.

It is Canadian law that bikers must wear helmets. We felt (and looked) pretty hardcore.

Jessie took this picture as she was "zoom"ing along... such skill, such grace.

After our leisurely ride, we took a trip to "Miniature World" with our new friend Renee... it was mind-opening to see miniature lands through the eyes of a true Canadian. From mini spaceships to mini carnival rides, there was no end to the worlds we could explore. We could've spent all day in this oasis of wonder and all things tiny:

Keepin' it real on the streets of Victoria!

Here is Renee, a Hi-Chew virgin's reaction to the tasty treat:

If you ever venture to Victoria, head straight to Rogers Chocolates and Soda shop and order Almond Brittle ice cream. Most delicious ice cream these two blonde bombshells have ever had!

Jazoom can't help but make friends wherever they go, and this sweet salesman is of no exception... We exchanged life stories, giggles, smiles, and Hi-Chew for taffy.... just changing a life, one Hi-Chew at a time.
