Skidaddle to Seattle!!

Living life on the edge, your car is bound to get pretty dirty...

JAZOOM loves to camp. Shocking, we know.

JAZOOM also knows how to pitch a tent. Here is proof, for the skeptics of the world.

Getting ready for a bachelorette party on the road can be tricky... thankfully the Kingston ferry had power outlets in the bathroom.

We didn't get the privilege of enjoying the views from the boat, but we arrived in Seattle fresh and sassy! WE LOVE JOANNA! (Kyle's ok.)

We saw Seattle through the eyes of the rainy city's finest newlyweds, the Von Steinbergs.

We paroozed the city streets with Jed and Bethany's dogs (apparently there are more dogs in Seattle than kids!), had a delicious cheese burger at Dick's Burgers (the Northwest rival to In-N-Out), ate crazy ice cream at Molly Moon's (like balsamic strawberry and sea salt caramel!), and woke up to a delicous breakfast of coffee, omlettes, and toast with Polish jam! Yitsik!

Then we hit up Pike's Place in downtown Seattle! We discovered that the heartbeat of Seattle resides in culinary delights! We sampled: peaches, nectarines, cherries, flavored honey, smoked salmon, cin-sugar mini donuts, banana walnuts, salad dressings, and chocolate linguini!!! AND we even took time to love on some fish!!! They JAZOOM too!

Does JAZOOM like Starbucks? Is the earth round? Did we feed buffalos out of our car yesterday?????? YES, we are Starbucks drinkers and YES we went to the first Starbucks: Check it!

Next Stop: Gig Harbor! Home of Matt and Ashley Pleau, The Thomson twins, and now miss Emily! We went to Forza, the local coffee spot in town that Ashley manages, to jam to "The Shy Boys" and learn choreographed dance moves to Johnny Cash.

We love WASHINGTON!!!!!

JAZOOM and buffalos and bears, OH MY!!!!

We love Washington for many reasons... one of them being, when you go to park your car. Chances are there'll be some llamas chillin' in the truck next to you.

At the day-old bakery store...getting ready to have some good, cheap, Washington FUN!!!!!

Meet the newest fans of JAZOOM....the whole animal kingdom found at Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, WA!! Let's just say Sequim is the best kept secret of the Northwest!

6 loaves of bread and a drive around the farm add up to the perfect way to spend an afternoon...meet some of our new friends:

JAZOOM brings smiles to everyone's faces, including Mr. Bear and one of Santa's reindeer! We didn't get to pet the snuggly bear (which was probably for the best) but he sure was happy to see JAZOOM!

This reindeer sure isn't camera shy! He came right up to the window for a picture and a hoagie roll.

BUFFALO IN THE CAR...I repeat...BUFFALO IN THE CAR!!!!!

Mr. Buffalo has stolen Alli's heart away. Here they are on their first date:

And Jessie didn't want to be left out....sourdough anyone?

This little guy just wanted to look at himself in the mirror!! Don't mind Alli in the driver's seat!!!

"Did someone say bread???"

And to top the day off...a stroll through the petting zoo! We've gotten to do some pretty cool things in our travels...but we can now say our lives are complete!! We were chased by elk, drooled on by buffalo, and nibbled on by zebras!

Canada is great, doncha know eh?

Good day JAZOOMers! We have had a fun-filled day in Victoria, Canada! Here are just a couple of highlights:

MMM... Murchies for breakfast. A Canadian tradition filled with love and calories.

It is Canadian law that bikers must wear helmets. We felt (and looked) pretty hardcore.

Jessie took this picture as she was "zoom"ing along... such skill, such grace.

After our leisurely ride, we took a trip to "Miniature World" with our new friend Renee... it was mind-opening to see miniature lands through the eyes of a true Canadian. From mini spaceships to mini carnival rides, there was no end to the worlds we could explore. We could've spent all day in this oasis of wonder and all things tiny:

Keepin' it real on the streets of Victoria!

Here is Renee, a Hi-Chew virgin's reaction to the tasty treat:

If you ever venture to Victoria, head straight to Rogers Chocolates and Soda shop and order Almond Brittle ice cream. Most delicious ice cream these two blonde bombshells have ever had!

Jazoom can't help but make friends wherever they go, and this sweet salesman is of no exception... We exchanged life stories, giggles, smiles, and Hi-Chew for taffy.... just changing a life, one Hi-Chew at a time.

JAZOOM: basically the next harlem globe trotters.

Here we have Jessie, who if you are unaware, is probably the best salesperson 31 Bits has ever seen. She found this young lady riding her bike around Portland, and convinced her to buy some beads. Here's sneaky little Jess in action...

...It just so happens, we knew this bike-riding Portland native, our dear friend Michelle McEvoy (yes, she's on facebook). We dined on scones and eggs at Zell's cafe, and Michelle gave us a tour of her garden:

We love you Michelle!!!

Goodbye Oregon..... helloooooo WASHINGTON!!!!! It took us about 20 times of exiting and re-entering the freeway to snap a pic at this sign.... NAILED IT!

Who are those hotties under the driftwood hut?? Look closely... it could be JAZOOM!

We found a sweet beach off the Washington coastline that had piles and piles of driftwood... it seemed only fitting that we leave our mark.

Twilight fans: make sure you're sitting down. What you're about to see may cause extreme jealousy.....

We visited the hometown of Bella!!! Alli lounged on her car!!! Jessie searched frantically for Jacob!!! It was MADNESS!!!!!
Just when we thought we had seen it all....signs led us off the road to this HUGE cedar tree! Check it out!!!!!

Highlight of the night: we camped in La Push. RIGHT on the treaty line. We knew Edward wouldn't be too happy about it... but both of us are TEAM JACOB so we just shrugged it off.

The next morning we drove along Crescent Lake on our way to Port Angeles... This is quite possibly the most beautiful lake both of us have ever seen!

A grand 'ole ferry took us from the hazy, dewy, Port Angeles, WA, to a blue-skied, sunny Victoria, Canada!! There we discovered a love for totem poles.

Totem poles, lots and lots of flowers, royalty, Canadians, fish and chips, VICTORIA HAS IT ALL!! Even crazy white glowing cowboys! Yee haw from the wild wild...Harbor???

Cheers to CANADA!!!!!! and congrats to Ed and Jillian! (bachelorette.com)

Portland? Yes please.

Hey guys! After a days journey from Bend to Portland, passing hayfields of snakes, the town of Boring, OR,

and yes... of course... THE Gresham high school. (GO GOPHERS!) We made it to P-TOWN!! We took a quick detour to Powell's bookstore and then dined on the best Mac n Cheese in all of the Northwest at the Montage resteraunt with our friend Blake. He was nice enough to give us a grand tour of "The City of Roses" and brought us to the coolest/creepiest/yummiest coffee and dessert house EVERRRR!!!

Wave hello to Blake!

P-town may have not been ready to say good night to JAZOOM, but we were ready to hit the hay at the home of some great friends, The Bransom clan. We woke up early and headed to the Bransom's church, The Neighborhood Church, where we really were welcomed as neighbors! We had the chance to tell the church all about 31 Bits and recieved lots of love, prayer, and support! Thanks Neighborhood Church!

No better way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Portland than cruising down the river! Thanks to the Bransoms, we saw the city from the water and even stopped for a delicious lunch at a floating restaurant!

Hotties on the riivvveeeerrr!!!!

Totally Tubular!! There goes JAZOOM flying through the Willamette Waters!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Lucky for you, JAZOOM is safe for the whole family! Here's one of our biggest supporters yet! Meet Ava!!! We found her out swimming laps on the river!

Yes, those buff legs belong to none other than, the J in JAZOOM.

How can we describe the joy experienced today on the river? Nothing sums it up better than these:

A "bend" in the road...

Leaving the golden city....

Next stop: Oregon. JAZOOM believes that when one crosses State lines, some sort of ceremony or ritual must occur. Naturally, for us, crossing into Oregon meant putting on our cowboy best...

We made it to the Dechutes County Fair!! Lady Antebellum was so excited to see us rocking out right in front of their stage. Besides Alli's minor heat stroke, we wouldn't trade Lady A's sweat dripping in our faces for the world.

Other highlights of the night...visiting our Bend buddies: Katie and Kristin.

Nothing could complete our stay in Bend better than JAZOOM's first ever RODEO!!! YEE HAW!!!!!!!!

Heading out from Ventura, we headed North, stopping in none other than the bea
utiful town of Solvang!  From quaint houses to dutch pastries to celebrating Christmas in July, our 30 minute stay helped us discover our Scandinavian roots and even allowed us to meet a Peruvian princess!!

Next was a 10 minute stop at the famous Applebees in San Luis Obispo, visiting great friends and once again introducinハイチュウ ライチ (HI CHEW) to the crowds.

Our final destination of Day 2:  San Francisco!  Stayed with dear friends...Kristin and Paige who made us delicious blueberry muffins and chicken...and scoped out the city!  Walked the Golden Gate in the fog,

had ice cream at Ghiradelli Square (and glowed as the chosen ones under the sign),

scoped out Fisherman's Wharf, shared tears over the beauty of Forbes Island, barked with the seals at Pier 39, played in the Musee Mechanique, danced to some local rap.

We joined some SF locals in their traditional Thursday night poetry and music at the corner of Mission and 16th Street.  Check it out...

When you're living the crazy JAZOOM lifestyle, sleep isn't always your top priority, so after just a few hours of zzzzzzzz's, our final SF stop was to find the perfect cup of coffee...and we did just that at Phil's coffee where our coffee was made by Phil himself!!

By night he may look like Indiana Jones, but don't be fooled...this man is just your average joe...who can make one hell of a cup of joe!!  (sorry mom)

With coffee in hand, we hit the wide open road once again...
